Crissy Field San Francisco

The Parks Conservancy's signature project, Crissy Field was transformed starting in 2001 from a former military airfield into a vibrant environmental showcase. It is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) and historically part of the Presidio of San Francisco. It boasts beaches, picnic tables, tidal marsh overlooks, and renowned windsurfing. It's a recreational paradise for owners and dogs alike. An abundance of dogs can be found swimming and playing along East Beach.
